Kitchen remodeling across the five boroughs and Nassau County.

Kitchen planning starts with the usable cabinet run, door locations, appliance clearances, and circulation through the room. We measure the space before recommending layout changes; a qualified design professional may need to assess structural changes.

Keeping plumbing and gas in place can reduce cost and coordination. When relocation is being considered, we identify the related trade and filing requirements before finalizing the scope.

What a kitchen job usually covers

  • Demolition and debris removal, with licensed trade work coordinated when required
  • Cabinet layout drawings you approve before a single box is ordered
  • Counter templating after cabinets are installed, using final field measurements
  • Electrical scope for circuits, counter protection, and lighting, performed by a licensed trade when required
  • Tile, backsplash, and floor prep including any subfloor leveling
  • Appliance installation coordination and a final punch-list walkthrough

01

Moving the gas line changes the schedule

Relocating a gas range may require a licensed plumber, a filing, and utility coordination. Requirements vary by property and jurisdiction, so we confirm them before the scope and schedule are finalized.

02

Cabinet lead times drive the calendar

Cabinet lead times vary by manufacturer and product line. We confirm the current lead time after the layout is approved and coordinate demolition around the expected delivery window.

Apartment kitchens have a second rulebook

Co-op and condo alteration agreements may set work hours, access rules, protection requirements, and documentation. We review the building's requirements before finalizing the scope and schedule.

Common questions about kitchen remodeling.

How long is a kitchen without a working kitchen?

Duration depends on layout changes, filings, material lead times, and site conditions. The written estimate includes a project-specific schedule based on the agreed scope.

Can you keep our existing cabinets?

Sometimes. If the boxes are solid and the layout works, refacing and new hardware is a real option and a fraction of the cost. If the boxes are particleboard that has already swelled at the sink base, refacing is money spent on a short extension of their life.

Do you handle the appliance ordering?

Appliance purchasing and installation responsibilities are documented in the scope. We coordinate cutout dimensions, fuel type, and electrical requirements with the selected models and applicable licensed trades.
